Partner search - programma EIE

The Lake District in Cumbria is one of the most beautiful areas of England. A National Park and potential World Heritage Site, it welcomes over 8 million visitors a year. As the Lake District National Park Authority, they manage the LDNPA area, and have pledged to take a leadership role on climate change within its Park boundary. In particular, they want to maximise the amount of renewable energy generated in the Lake District, without compromising the spectacular landscape. They are actively seeking partners for the Intelligent Energy Europe Call .............on renewable energy  – and hope you will be one of them ! (Rebecca Willis, who is handling this partner search, says that Europarc group (representing national parks in the EU) is also aware of this proposal and is supportive). The IEE Call deadline is 24th June 2010. Please contact the Lake District National Park Authority directly by  30th April 2010 if you are interested in being a partner.
